'Under the Mask: Perspectives on the Gamer' will not only offer academic insights into the gamer, it will also provide an unique opportunity to play, watch and make games amongst fellow gamers.
The organizers of the conference are particularly pleased to announce that there will be a master-class demonstration by Samantha, bazza, Zaccubus and RattlesnK from the professional gamer clan Team Dignitas in the Judith Blake Theatre A013. There will also be challenge events and an opportunity to play yourself with wonderful prizes provided by the nice people at GAME.
There will be other game opportunities during the day. There will be a Game Art exhibition in the Media, Art and Design White Space. There will also be game-making workshops in the Mission Maker and Unity development environments. There will also be demonstrations of the motion-capture system in use at the University of Bedfordshire.
